01 / BUSINESS
I`m a Product Management Executive from Hamburg/Germany. My interests range from technology to design to the "art" of getting things done.
I currently work as Chief Product Officer at Aroundhome (a ProSiebenSat.1 company), germany`s largest online broker for products and services around the house.
Before that I worked as VP Product & UX at LOTTO24 AG (Member of the ZEAL group), germany`s market leading lottery e-commerce company with EUR 650+ million billings under its belt.
Previousely I have worked as a freelance consultant with various tech-companies and as Director Product at XING.com for over 5 years. There I have successfully helped to build and manage engaging product solutions and profitable new businesses on the B2C as well as on the B2B side.
Before joining XING, I co-founded and managed eparo GmbH for 5 years. It still is one of germany`s leading UX Consulting & Usability Testing companies.

Part of my job as a senior professional was to go through various personality tests to find out more about my strength and weaknesses. All different methods showed a consistent picture of me.
One of these assessments was the well known Myers-Briggs-Typeindicator (MBTI). It described me as an ENTJ type of person. You can find out what that means by clicking this link.
Besides the fact that I have a personality, I`m a husband to a beautiful wife and father of a boy and girl, rap music fan and I spend my free time growing vegetables of all sorts.

This simple, but yet powerful question goes back to the early days of facebook`s product team. In my opinion it is the key question for building compelling products and services - trying to answer this question in every project is still guiding my actions.
